The Devon village of Branscombe is found on the South coast of Devon between Seaton and Sidmouth and is one of the most relaxing and picturesque villages on Jurassic Coastline. Believed to be the longest village in the country, the streets sweep down through the stunning valley to the sea, lined with colourful cottages and thatched buildings.Here you will find pretty rows of thatched cottages with hanging baskets and climbing roses decorating the outside, a picturesque dovecote and a church with one of the most inspiring views in the county.The village has a number of historic buildings, the Old Bakery and Forge, both National Trust properties, are just some which can be found in the beautiful streets.



Devon has many Beautiful places to visit .The beautiful picturesque village of Beer is located on theUNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast in Devon.  Surrounded by white chalk cliffs, the shingle beach is lined with fishing boats still bringing in their daily catches and is famous for its mackerel.

On the edge of the South West Coast Path, Beer has some of the most stunning coastal walks in the county, one of the best being from Seaton to Beer ( Photo 1 Below ) with dramatic views across the Jurassic Coastline. Beer was also named recently by Countryfile as the Top Picnic spot in the UK. Devon Village of Branscombe has many pretty Cottage and also the Old Bakery ( Photo 4 & 6 below ) It’s so difficult to know where to start this historic old thatched cottage. Apart from the pretty cottage itself with its thatch, stone floor where many hundreds of folk have walked and baked before, the whole atmosphere is delightful!
